"Every renter deserves to know the law that protects them."
— Why we built this
Our Story
The system was stacked against renters. We changed that.
For decades, UK renters faced an unequal power dynamic. Landlords had solicitors, letting agencies, and decades of experience. Tenants had a leaflet and a phone number that rang out.
When the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 passed, the biggest shake-up to tenancy law in a generation, we saw an opportunity. A chance to make sure every renter in the UK actually knew what these new rights meant for them, and how to use them.
Renters Rights Act Services built to be the resource we wish existed when we were renters ourselves. Plain English. Practical tools. Real legal weight.
The Renters' Rights Act abolished Section 21 'no-fault' evictions, capped advance rent, and gave tenants the legal right to challenge above-market rent increases. Most renters still don't know this.
What We Stand For
Our Core Principles
Everything we build is guided by three simple beliefs about how renters should be treated.
⚖️
Accessible Justice
Legal knowledge shouldn’t cost hundreds of pounds. We translate complex housing law into clear, actionable guidance that anyone can use, regardless of background or income.
🛡️
Renter-First Always
We are 100% on the side of tenants. We have no relationships with letting agencies, landlord groups, or property investors. Our members are our only priority.
📋
Legally Accurate
Every guide, template, and checklist we produce is based on current UK legislation. We keep everything up to date as the law evolves, so you’re never working from outdated information.
Who We Are
The People Behind This
RRAS Community
Lived Experience & Tenant Advocacy
We are not a formal law firm, nor are we corporate consultants. We are former UK tenants who have stood exactly where you are today.
Between us, we have faced eviction notices, fought unfair deposit deductions, challenged steep rent increases, and dealt with landlords who ignored urgent repairs for months. We know firsthand how stressful and overwhelming it feels when your home is on the line and the legal system feels impossible to navigate.
When the Renters’ Rights Act framework was introduced, we saw an opportunity to make a real difference. We took everything we learned through lived experience, the strict statutory deadlines, the key documentation defects, and the exact formal communication that gets results, and built the practical resource we wished we had during our own housing disputes.
Every guide, tool, and document template on this platform is built from real-world experience and cross-checked against official UK housing legislation. We combine practical, lived renter experience with plain-English legal accuracy so you can understand your position and take control of your situation with confidence.
